Welcome to OASIS! The OASIS Albuquerque Gift Show is a wholesale only gift trade show taking place March 21-22, 2012 at the Albuquerque Convention Center, located in beautiful downtown Albuquerque . Proper credentials are required. OASIS offers success, opportunity, and convenience to buyers by featuring an expansive product selection and one-of-a-kind handmade gifts. OASIS exhibitors offer trend setting general merchandise, world imports, home décor, jewelry, Native American art and crafts, western flair and southwestern gifts. OASIS is dedicated to providing a profitable wholesale gift marketplace at home and away!


Returning Buyers
All buyers will need to pre-register before the show in order to have their badges mailed to them in advance. Badges will be mailed in late February. If you have already pre-registered and need to make additional changes, please fax your changes to 602.391.2400 or email information@oasis.org until March 2, 2012 and your new badges will be mailed. After March 2, 2012, all changes must be made at show site. If you do not pre-register prior to the March 2nd deadline you may register at the show. New Buying Companies
New buyers can register in advance until March 2, 2012. All buyers must provide a copy of their state sales tax reporting license for an industry-related business as one of their two required company credentials in addition to the other requirements outlined below. All buyers must present appropriate business and employee identification to attend the OASIS Gift Show as a professional buyer. Each employee must also present individual employment identification from their company to attend. Please fax or mail the registration form along with all required buyer credentials to 602.391.2400 or OASIS 15591 W. Yucatan Dr., Surprise AZ 85379. If your completed registration form and credentials are received by March 2, 2012, your badges will be mailed to you. Badges will be mailed in late February. After March 2, 2012 all buyers will need to register at show site. Below is important Buyer Registration Information:

On-site Buyer Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. daily. Attendees registering at the show site must provide EACH of the following: (There are no exceptions)

MANDATORY
Personal photo I.D. of primary buyer, signature, copy of state sales tax reporting license (for industry related business) or tax exempt certificate (churches, hospital, schools)

COMPANY Identification
You must present a copy of at least ONE of any of the following:OASIS Gift Show Albuquerque New Mexico Convention Center

  • City business license
  • U.S. Federal I.D. number
  • Company check
  • Credit card in company’s name
  • Exhibiting company’s purchase order
  • Three or more recent invoices from giftware industry manufacturers for merchandise purchased at wholesale and in quantity
  • Yellow Pages business listing
  • Store or commercial lease with the type of business indicated on the document
  • Photograph of your store front
  • Mail Order Companies must provide actual printed catalog
  • Manufacturers' representatives (multi-line only) must provide a list of lines currently being handled including their contact information
  • Wholesalers, importers, and exporters must provide samples of brochures or catalogs that demonstrate current product selection and inventory

EMPLOYEE Identification
You must present a copy of at least ONE of any of the following for each attending employee:

  • W-2 form
  • Permanent employee I.D.
  • Cancelled company payroll check or paycheck stub
  • Company insurance card
  • Company credit card with both employee and company name
  • Business cards are NOT accepted as credentials

OASIS, Inc. reserves the right to request additional business identification if deemed necessary or to deny access to the show.


IMPORTANT NOTICES

OASIS Non-buying Guest Policy
We highly discourage guests attending the show. However, non-buying guest badges are available. Guests must register with their buyer. The guest fee is $50.00 per person with a limit of two guests per buying company. While on the show floor, guests must wear their badges and remain with their buyers at all times. Guest badges are not sold on Saturday.

Age Restrictions For Child Safety
During exhibitor move-in and move-out, children under the age of 16 years are not permitted in the Convention Center. During show days, children under the age of 14 years are not permitted in the Convention Center. OASIS does not provide childcare at show site. Mother's or responsible guardians who have infants in a front carry pack are permitted, however the infant must remain in the pack while on the show floor. If the infant needs to be taken from the pack, you must proceed to the registration area.

No Pets Allowed
Only service animals are permitted to accompany individuals with disabilities.

Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available at the Bag Check located in the Registration area. Wheelchair rental cost is $10 per day plus a photo ID and are on a first-come, first served basis. Limited number available.
